Technology in Deals - Senior Manager

About the role

PwC Canada is hiring a Senior Manager for its Technology in Deals advisory practice in Toronto. The team helps corporate, private equity and pension fund clients achieve value on transactions by addressing technology challenges across the deal lifecycle, from pre- and post-close due diligence and IT integration to carve-outs and digital value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple technology-focused deal engagements and lead teams to successful execution
• Develop and run IT integration and IT separation strategies, including systems rationalization roadmaps, TSA frameworks and standalone technology operating models
• Manage project-level stakeholders such as CIOs, CTOs and CISOs, and lead delivery teams through due diligence, integration, carve-outs and digital value creation
• Provide hands-on support on technology due diligence, IT integration and carve-outs, and technology operating model design
• Manage project scope, risks, budgets and team utilization, and support client billing
• Support business development, firm-building and talent development, and coach team members

Required profile

• University degree in Technology, Engineering or a related field preferred; excellent English, French is an asset
• Track record advising CIOs, CTOs and CISOs on technology due diligence, IT integration, carve-outs and digital value creation
• Experience managing large, complex technology programs and multiple concurrent client engagements
• Experience in one or more sectors such as financial services, telecom, technology/media, consumer products, energy, industrials or infrastructure
• Experience leading business development and pursuit activities; current or prior Corporate M&A, Big 4 or strategy M&A experience preferred
• Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally, up to 20%

• Enterprise IT infrastructure and operations, cybersecurity, cloud and digital platforms, ERP systems and data and analytics
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of technology environments

The stated salary range is $150,000 - $200,000, with possible variable incentive pay.
