Transfer Pricing - Financial Transactions, Manager

About the role

PwC Canada is hiring a Transfer Pricing Manager in Toronto, covering intercompany financing transactions. The team helps clients design compliant, tax-efficient structures and handles documentation, planning, dispute resolution and advance pricing agreements. The role focuses on financing matters such as interest rate analyses, debt capacity and guarantee fees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new skills, build client relationships and coach others to take ownership of their development
• Analyze complex proposals and build recommendations based on data, stakeholder views and technology
• Take a point of view on global trends affecting clients and build consensus among different viewpoints
• Simplify complex messages and summarize key points
• Identify tax and business consulting opportunities and market services to existing and prospective clients
• Manage and develop a team of tax professionals

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Transfer Pricing Manager or above, with significant experience in financing transactions
• MBA, MA or advanced degree in Economics, Tax, Finance or Business Administration
• Knowledgeable and comfortable with detailed financial analysis, credit risk and capital markets
• Ability to identify tax and consulting opportunities and to market services
• Willingness to take initiative in personal growth and to manage, develop and retain a team

The salary range is $87,700 - $137,700, with possible variable incentive pay. The position follows the departure of a valued team member and offers a hybrid work environment.
