Technician II – Service (Security Systems)

About the role

As a Technician II – Service you will work with Bosch Building Technologies to install, commission and maintain electronic security solutions for commercial clients. You will interpret blueprints, collaborate with project managers and sales teams, and ensure systems meet contractual and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service access‑control, CCTV and intrusion‑alarm systems.
• Perform pre‑wiring, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Develop and execute Acceptance Testing Plans aligned with client contracts.
• Assist in system design, layout planning and provide on‑site training to customers.
• Maintain project documentation and update project managers on progress.
• Lead site projects, supervise junior technicians and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lb as required.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in integrated security installations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Ability to work independently and on shift hours (5 pm‑12 am).
• Physical ability to stand, climb, lift 50 lb and work at heights over 6 ft.
