Risk Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Risk Operations Supervisor to lead front‑line teams across Fraud, Payments, KYC & Verification, AML, Enhanced Due Diligence and Responsible Gaming. The role ensures daily workflows meet SLAs, quality standards and regulatory compliance while supporting the Manager of Operational Risk Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned risk teams, allocate workloads and monitor performance against SLAs and quality metrics.
• Conduct quality checks, peer reviews and maintain documentation to ensure process compliance and data accuracy.
• Provide coaching, on‑the‑job training and performance feedback to analysts and new hires.
• Handle analyst‑level escalations, communicate issues to management and support internal audits and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in an operational or risk‑related role within online gaming or fintech, with strong knowledge of at least one area such as KYC, Fraud, AML, Payments or Responsible Gaming.
• Previous informal leadership, mentoring or team coordination experience in a regulated environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and communication skills, and ability to work in a KPI‑driven setting.

Required skills

• Familiarity with case management or risk monitoring tools.
• Understanding of Canadian online gaming market and related regulatory requirements.
