Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the safe, timely execution of vessel operations on MV Isabelle, ensuring compliance with SOPs, HSE regulations and company documentation. This rotational, three‑year position is based onsite in Squamish, BC, supporting a range of technical scopes across the vessel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the car deck and other technical work areas.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource allocations.
• Act as liaison between crew, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Lead vessel refit planning, vendor coordination and subcontractor support.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards.
• Support mechanical, electrical, software and systems disciplines.
• Identify project resources, define technical roles and create work breakdown structures.
• Control project schedule, resolve engineering issues and manage risks.

Required profile

• Thorough understanding of vessel project scope and operations.
• Experience managing technical projects in maritime or industrial settings.
• Proven ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management.
• Capability to develop schedules, budgets and resource plans.
