Industrial Lift Truck Mechanic

About the role

We are looking for a skilled repairer mechanic to maintain and service industrial lift trucks and forklifts at our Mississauga facility. The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all machinery meets manufacturer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment to determine required repairs.
• Order parts, maintain inventory, and keep detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
• Adjust equipment, repair or replace defective components, and test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on industrial lift trucks and forklifts.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 3 to 5 years of experience repairing industrial lift trucks and forklifts.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to pass criminal record and driving record checks.
• Physically demanding work; able to handle up to 23 kg and wear steel‑toed safety boots.
• Strong attention to detail and client‑focused, team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Experience in industrial lift truck and forklift repair and maintenance.
