Production Planner II

About the role

The Production Planner II is responsible for managing all planning aspects of production to ensure on‑time delivery. You will act as a liaison between Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, and Warehouse teams to coordinate manufacturing processes and material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule incoming sales orders, monitor forecasts and inventory, and adjust production plans proactively.
• Create and maintain production work orders in the ERP system, ensuring accurate capacity and lead‑time data.
• Coordinate material release from the warehouse, track repair and warranty units, and collaborate with peer planners on a rolling 12‑month production plan.
• Analyze engineering changes, develop mitigation plans, and participate in continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply‑chain roles.
• College or university degree in operations or supply‑chain management.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities under pressure, and effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience in ISO‑compliant environments (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) is an asset.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of an ERP/MRP system for production scheduling.
• Familiarity with forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling principles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
