About the role
The Ingram School of Nursing is seeking two graduate teaching assistants for the Fall 2026 term to support the Research Methods in Nursing 1 course (NUR2 612). Under the supervision of the course coordinator, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of course content and assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Grade assignments and other course assessments.
- Manage the MyCourses platform, including posting materials and overseeing discussion boards.
- Communicate with students by responding to email inquiries.
- Contribute to class workshops and assist with various operational tasks.
Required profile
- Current Master’s or Doctoral student at McGill University in a health‑related discipline, preferably Nursing.
- Completed graduate‑level courses in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Graduate teaching experience is preferred.
- Research experience such as protocol writing, ethics submission, data collection, analysis, or manuscript preparation is an asset.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $38.46.
- 90 hours of work for the Fall 2026 term, with the possibility of splitting the position between two TAs.
- Experience in academic teaching and research within a supportive, equity‑focused environment.
