Teaching Assistant – Research Methods in Nursing (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Ingram School of Nursing is seeking two graduate teaching assistants for the Fall 2026 term to support the Research Methods in Nursing 1 course (NUR2 612). Under the supervision of the course coordinator, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of course content and assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Grade assignments and other course assessments.
• Manage the MyCourses platform, including posting materials and overseeing discussion boards.
• Communicate with students by responding to email inquiries.
• Contribute to class workshops and assist with various operational tasks.

Required profile

• Current Master’s or Doctoral student at McGill University in a health‑related discipline, preferably Nursing.
• Completed graduate‑level courses in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Graduate teaching experience is preferred.
• Research experience such as protocol writing, ethics submission, data collection, analysis, or manuscript preparation is an asset.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $38.46.
• 90 hours of work for the Fall 2026 term, with the possibility of splitting the position between two TAs.
