Tax Manager

About the role

Teva Canada is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the Canadian corporate tax function. The role combines tax accounting, compliance, audit coordination and strategic tax planning in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Canadian corporate tax compliance for all Teva Canada legal entities and prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions (current and deferred) under US GAAP.
• Support global consolidation, ensuring alignment with US GAAP and global reporting standards.
• Lead and coordinate corporate tax audits, engage with the CRA and other tax authorities, and manage audit information requests.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting and external tax advisors to gather financial data, validate reporting and provide tax guidance on business initiatives, intercompany agreements, financing structures and IP transactions.
• Support annual transfer pricing documentation, ensure adherence to global transfer pricing policies and oversee indirect tax compliance, including sales tax matters.
• Participate in domestic and cross‑border tax planning initiatives, analyse tax implications of transactions and contribute to projects related to evolving tax legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporate environments.
• Experience preparing and reviewing complex income tax provisions under US GAAP.
• Strong analytical, documentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with corporate tax reporting software and Microsoft Office.
