Tax Manager – Corporate Tax (Canada)

About the role

SDG Accountant is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead corporate tax services for small and medium‑sized enterprises in Canada. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance, identify tax‑saving opportunities, and provide strategic advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Review client bookkeeping and accounting using QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1, T3) tax returns.
• Develop financial statements and compilation engagements.
• Maintain and grow client relationships by delivering tailored tax planning advice.
• Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to guarantee the completeness of financial statements.
• Stay current with federal and provincial tax regulations and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Canadian CPA designation or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of Canadian corporate tax experience in a large professional services or public practice firm.
• Completed or currently enrolled in an In‑Depth Tax Course.
• Business‑level proficiency in English.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
