Tax Advisor & Preparer (Hybrid, Windsor)

About the role

The Tax Advisor & Preparer works directly with FBC members to understand their financial situation and deliver tailored tax strategies that minimise both short‑term and long‑term taxes. The role combines tax preparation, planning and the promotion of FBC’s broader services such as bookkeeping, payroll and legal assistance. Reporting to the London office, the position requires a hybrid work model with regular travel to members’ businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate tax and accounting advice to members.
• Collect member information and prepare T1 and T2 tax returns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships, encouraging referrals and long‑term engagement.
• Identify member needs and connect them with other specialists within the company.
• Maintain accurate records of all member interactions and services provided.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a tax preparation or accounting firm.
• Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software; Taxprep and Xero preferred.
• Experience preparing tax returns for farms and small businesses; corporate tax experience is an asset.
• Strong client‑service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
