Supervisor, Enterprise Architecture

About the role

The Supervisor, Enterprise Architecture leads the City of Hamilton’s enterprise and business architecture programs, providing governance, strategic direction and operational oversight to ensure technology solutions align with municipal objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, reference models and strategic roadmaps.
• Chair the Enterprise Integration Working Group and Governance Board to ensure integrations are secure, sustainable and aligned with architecture standards.
• Provide strategic advice on business capability development, technology investments and organizational transformation.
• Oversee Business Architects, manage talent recruitment, performance and professional development.
• Support budget planning, procurement compliance and risk mitigation related to architecture initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership in enterprise and business architecture within a large organization.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and IT management.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and delivering governance processes.
