IT Lead

About the role

The IT Lead will provide hands‑on support for technology initiatives across COVE, focusing on new software implementation, business system improvement, and coordination with the managed service provider. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role ensures technology services are delivered securely, efficiently, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day technology operations, planning, governance, vendor oversight, cybersecurity, and risk escalation.
• Administer SharePoint and Microsoft 365 platforms, including site administration, permissions, workflow automation, and user support.
• Lead software implementations, system upgrades, integrations, process improvements, and digital transformation projects.
• Manage relationships with managed service providers, vendors, and consultants, monitoring performance and contract compliance.
• Support cybersecurity, privacy, data governance, access management, and incident response activities.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in IT, computer science, business systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, technology coordination, or similar roles.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements, document workflows, and translate needs into technology solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support non‑technical users.

Required skills

• SharePoint Online administration (site architecture, permissions, metadata, content management).
• Microsoft 365 administration and cloud‑based application management.
• Power Automate workflow automation.
• Fundamentals of cybersecurity, access management, and data protection.
• Experience with managed service providers and vendor coordination.
