Application Support Specialist – EAM

About the role

The City of Hamilton is seeking an Application Support Specialist for its Hexagon (HxGN) Enterprise Asset Management platform. You will work within Agile Scrum teams to configure, customize, integrate, and report on the EAM system, supporting both production and enhancement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and support Hexagon EAM components, including flexes, workflows, screens, and security.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform performance tuning, and resolve defects in collaboration with IT and vendors.
• Execute data imports/exports, support integrations with ERP, GIS, CRM, SCADA, and develop operational and analytical reports using SQL, SSRS, or Power BI.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide effort estimates, and deliver technical work items within sprint commitments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration mappings, and support ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, GIS/Geomatics, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of technical experience supporting enterprise applications, preferably Hexagon EAM or similar CMMS/ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
