Supervisor, Business Applications (Enterprise Asset Management)

About the role

The Supervisor, Business Applications (Enterprise Asset Management) leads the team that supports the city’s EAM product suite. Reporting to the Manager of Business Applications, this role ensures the solution meets strategic and operational needs across municipal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to technology professionals supporting the Enterprise Asset Management suite.
• Oversee development of roadmaps, align with vendors, and lead IT initiatives that span multiple departments.
• Manage performance, scheduling, skill development, and disciplinary actions for staff and external consultants.
• Develop work plans, assign resources, and coordinate delivery of project outputs.
• Ensure resolution of complex technical problems, recommend enhancements, and support system testing and post‑implementation reviews.
• Lead procurement activities, prepare RFPs, evaluate bids, and manage budgets and training plans.

Required profile

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years progressive experience in systems analysis, application design and development.
• 5+ years experience leading teams of developers and support staff.
• Extensive experience implementing and sustaining enterprise technology solutions, especially Enterprise Asset Management.
