SDx / Octave Solution Architect

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Solution Architect to design and guide the overall SDx solution for its Supply Chain and Engineering practice. You will work with business, technical, integration, data migration and infrastructure teams to ensure the solution meets both business needs and technical standards, supporting the project from design through production.

Key responsibilities

• Design the end‑to‑end SDx solution and lead solution design workshops.
• Create architecture diagrams, define standards, and ensure business processes, data, integrations, security and SDx capabilities work together.
• Provide guidance on SDx/Octave capabilities, promote out‑of‑the‑box functionality and minimize customisation.
• Establish data quality and information‑governance standards, review object models, metadata, workflows and security.
• Support architecture during build, testing, deployment and hyper‑care, and help resolve technical issues.
• Identify risks and dependencies, present recommendations to leadership and mentor project teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience with technical information, asset management, PLM, EIM or similar solutions.
• 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect delivering large transformation programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Fluent English for regular interaction with global stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Hexagon SDx / Octave.
• Knowledge of SDx architecture, configuration, data model, objects, relationships, metadata, workflows and security.
• Experience with Digital Twin, PLM, EIM platforms and SmartPlant Foundation (preferred).
