Senior SAP Architect – Platforms & Integration

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Senior SAP Architect to lead the design and delivery of SAP Platforms and Integration solutions for its clients. The role involves setting technical standards, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring architectures are scalable, secure and aligned with SAP’s Clean Core and cloud‑first principles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technical architecture for multi‑technology SAP programs.
• Define target‑state, transition and solution architectures in line with SAP Clean Core.
• Design integration frameworks across SAP and non‑SAP systems using APIs, event‑driven and middleware patterns.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, principles and governance.
• Assess and select technologies, tools and frameworks based on performance, security and scalability.
• Design SAP landscapes for development, testing, production, high availability and disaster recovery.
• Provide architectural oversight through design reviews, decision forums and quality gates.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure and data teams to ensure holistic alignment.
• Support solution design in feasibility studies, proofs‑of‑concept and architecture validation.
• Mentor senior developers and technical leads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP technical or platform architecture and enterprise integration.
• Proven expertise delivering complex SAP solutions across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori/UI, integration, data and security layers.
• Strong understanding of non‑functional requirements such as performance, scalability, availability and security.
• Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance and fluency in English.

• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services: Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Foundry, Kyma.
• ABAP and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Integration technologies and patterns: REST, OData, messaging, events, API‑led and event‑driven architectures.
