Software Engineer I – iOS (Toronto)

About the role

Wayfair is looking for a motivated Software Engineer I to join its Native App team in Toronto. You will help build and scale the iOS shopping experience used by millions of customers, working in a hybrid environment with three days onsite and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable iOS applications.
• Implement new features and enhance existing ones using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Ensure engineering quality through testing, performance monitoring, and observability best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and analytics teams to solve business and technical challenges.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the growth of the engineering organization.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or 0‑3 years of professional experience.
• Strong fundamentals in object‑oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Passion for programming and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
