Softgoods Associate – Full-Time Retail Role

About the role

Join Giant Tiger as a Softgoods Associate and help deliver a great shopping experience to customers in Atholville. You will work on the sales floor and checkout area, ensuring product availability, accurate transactions, and a clean, organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service and assist shoppers with product inquiries.
• Accurately process transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout systems.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain planograms, labels, and signage.
• Execute markdowns, SKU changes, and hot‑selling item follow‑ups as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and adhere to loss‑prevention best practices.
• Ensure compliance with tobacco and lottery sales policies and follow health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Keep the checkout work area clean, organized, and safe.
