Commission-Based Business Development – Wellness & Fitness

About the role

We are looking for a commission‑based Business Development professional to drive revenue for a Canadian AI‑native software platform serving premium wellness and fitness operators. The role is fully remote and you will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and long‑term account management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage multi‑location wellness and fitness operators across Canada using your existing network.
• Conduct discovery calls, present and demo the NexScale solution, and negotiate multi‑year contracts.
• Close deals and retain the account as the primary relationship, driving renewals and expansions.
• Coordinate onboarding, CRM integration and periodic business reviews with the implementation team.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast pipeline and provide market feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of sales experience with Canadian premium multi‑location wellness, fitness or hospitality operators.
• Proven track record of closing end‑to‑end deals and existing relationships with owners and decision‑makers.
• Self‑directed, comfortable working without a manager and motivated by uncapped commission.
• Legally able to work in Canada as an independent contractor.

Required skills

• Familiarity with industry management platforms such as Mindbody, Mariana Tek, WellnessLiving, Amilia, Momence, Walla, PushPress, ActiveNet, Perfect Gym or Club Automation.
• Experience using CRM systems for pipeline tracking and forecasting.
