Site Superintendent

About the role

Bau Projects Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead on‑site construction activities for large commercial and industrial projects in the Winnipeg area. You will be the primary on‑site leader responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily construction schedules, workforce planning, and material procurement.
• Lead site teams, chair meetings, and drive accountability across all trades.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage trade sequencing, and resolve conflicts to keep work flowing.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and keep accurate site records, including reports, photos, and as‑builts.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for alignment with site conditions and contract documents.
• Support contract administration tasks such as purchase orders and subcontracts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in commercial construction in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale sites, coordinate multiple trades, and maintain safety compliance.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
