Sessional Lecturer – Business Technology Management (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga is seeking a qualified Sessional Lecturer to teach MGT371 Business Technology Management during the Fall 2026 term (September 1 – December 31). This short‑term appointment focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction and supporting student learning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars for the MGT371 course.
• Assess student work, assign grades, and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with teaching assistants, ensuring a minimum of 0.75 support hours per enrolled student.
• Maintain course materials and adhere to the university’s academic calendar and collective agreement.
• Uphold teaching excellence and contribute to the department’s academic mission.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications and teaching experience in business technology management or a related field.
• Eligibility under CUPE 3902, Unit 3 collective agreement (students and post‑doctoral fellows are not eligible).
• Preference given to candidates already advanced to Sessional Lecturer II or III.
