Service Officer III – Hybrid, Toronto

About the role

We are seeking a Service Officer III to support a leading financial institution in Toronto. This hybrid position involves processing sensitive client information, ensuring data accuracy, and meeting service level agreements within a fast‑paced banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve source documents such as cancelled checks, sales reports, and bills, entering data into designated fields.
• Identify and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.
• Audit data against source documents and maintain activity logs.
• Manage daily email communications while processing non‑financial transactions containing highly sensitive client data.
• Accurately input critical data across multiple systems, ensuring compliance.
• Consistently meet SLAs within 24‑48 hours.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial or banking environments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic mentoring skills to provide constructive feedback.
