Senior Vice President, Military Family Services

About the role

The Senior Vice President, Military Family Services leads the national strategy and delivery of programs that support Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans and their families. Reporting to the Managing Director of Non-Public Property, this executive role shapes services that enhance operational readiness by strengthening families at the individual and community level.

Key responsibilities

• Provide enterprise‑wide leadership for the design, delivery and continuous improvement of military and veteran family programs.
• Shape a national approach to family services that directly contributes to CAF operational readiness.
• Report to the Managing Director Non‑Public Property/CEO and serve on the Executive Management Board.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with government, military, and community partners.
• Oversee governance, financial management and performance measurement of all family services initiatives.

Required profile

• Accomplished executive with extensive experience in social services, community development or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale, complex programs in multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strategic, operational and financial acumen with experience navigating public‑sector governance frameworks.
• Consultative and collaborative leadership style, capable of fostering high‑performing internal teams.
