Relationship Manager

About the role

The Relationship Manager will support international students, host families and partner schools in the Red Deer region, ensuring smooth cultural integration and program success. This permanent, hybrid position involves both office and community work.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders, including students, host families, schools and agencies.
• Provide in‑person training and orientation for hosts and new students, and maintain accurate records of interactions.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations, referring cases to health professionals when needed.
• Travel within a 100 km radius to support host families, attend school meetings and community events.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of homestay or related experience.
• Community College Certificate or Diploma (one‑year program) preferred.
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident, at least 25 years old, with a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently, handle high‑stress situations and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong email and database management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; a second language is a plus.
