Workday Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking Lead

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Workday PATT Lead to drive Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking implementations for its clients. The role involves designing, deploying and maintaining Workday solutions while collaborating with onshore and offshore functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support the PATT workstream in Workday implementation projects.
• Design and deploy Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking solutions, ensuring cross‑functional alignment.
• Manage configurations, updates and migrations to production, and provide post‑payroll support such as posting, bank transfers and paychecks.
• Address legal, regulatory and year‑end reporting requirements within Workday.
• Research and resolve issues, support new client requirements, and advise on industry best practices.
• Provide status updates to the Project Manager and maintain client relationships.

Required profile

• Workday Absence, Payroll or Time Tracking certification.
• Minimum 3 years of Workday Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking implementation experience.
• At least 3 years of consulting experience in a senior‑consultant or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Fluent English for collaboration with multinational teams.

Required skills

• Workday Payroll configuration and deployment.
• Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules.
• Experience with other payroll systems such as ADP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of US and Canadian payroll processes.
