Recruiter – 12‑month Contract

About the role

Huawei Canada has an immediate 12‑month contract opening for a Recruiter. The Human Resource Department supports Huawei Canada by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with corporate and legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process end‑to‑end for technical and other roles.
• Implement sourcing strategies to target niche technical positions and maintain a diverse candidate pool.
• Conduct talent mapping and other activities to identify top technical talent.
• Attract, source, interview candidates and negotiate compensation packages.
• Administer the approval process together with the recruitment coordinator and maintain candidate documentation.
• Advise hiring teams on best practices and work closely with hiring managers in a consultative manner.
• Participate in career fairs, networking events and tri‑annual co‑op recruitment cycles.
• Meet tight deadlines for high‑volume interviewing and selection.
