Talent Acquisition Specialist – Ottawa

About the role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at CLV Group, you will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process for corporate and operational positions, helping the company attract and retain top talent. You will partner closely with hiring leaders, develop proactive sourcing strategies, and champion CLV as an employer of choice.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers to understand business needs and align recruitment priorities.
• Lead the full recruitment cycle: role design, sourcing, screening, assessment, selection, offers and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and future roles, including passive candidates.
• Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends and competitive hiring conditions.
• Enhance CLV’s employer brand through compelling job postings, recruitment campaigns and candidate communications.
• Utilise recruitment technologies and data insights to improve speed, quality and overall hiring outcomes.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Up to five years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sales, customer experience or a similar people‑focused role.
• Strong relationship‑building, communication and interpersonal skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work with attention to detail and deliver results in a fast‑growing environment.
