About the role
The Senior Property Administrator provides portfolio‑level administrative and operational leadership across a diverse housing portfolio, ensuring consistency, compliance and high‑quality resident service. This senior‑level role supports Property Managers and Building Managers while offering a pathway toward Building Manager or Junior Property Manager positions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain compliance trackers, reporting requirements and administrative deadlines for the portfolio.
- Organise digital and physical records, track lease documentation, renewals and income verification cycles.
- Coordinate move‑in and move‑out processes, prepare internal reports for leadership and funders.
- Serve as central contact for resident inquiries, draft notices and manage communication logs.
- Support housing charge tracking, invoice processing and vacancy posting administration.
- Coordinate contractor access, inventory tracking and small procurement activities.
- Prepare board packages, AGM materials, meeting logistics and governance records.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of progressive administrative experience in property management, housing or community‑based settings.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.
- Professional communication abilities with residents, boards, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- High judgment, discretion, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with property management systems; Yardi or similar platforms preferred.
