Senior Project Manager – ICI Ground-Up Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale ICI ground‑up construction projects valued between $100M and $300M. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through close‑out, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of major institutional, commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, procurement and overall financial performance.
• Oversee multidisciplinary project teams, including Project Managers, Coordinators, Superintendents, consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, consultants, trades and internal stakeholders.
• Plan, schedule, mitigate risks and execute project strategies.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, ensure milestones and quality standards are achieved.
• Handle tendering, procurement, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration.
• Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building codes and company policies.
• Lead project meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior leadership.
• Support project close‑out, deficiency management, turnover and client handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager on large‑scale ICI construction projects.
• Strong background in ground‑up construction projects valued at $100M+.
• Experience in institutional, commercial or industrial construction.
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, procurement and project controls.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage large teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization and problem‑solving skills.
