About the role
The Senior Manager, Business Operations & Insights will support the OCIO Business Management function and drive data‑driven decision‑making for ScotiaTech priorities. You will partner with senior leaders to provide a consistent view of performance, workforce capacity, and financial health.
Key responsibilities
- Lead planning, reporting dashboards, and executive materials to showcase business performance.
- Manage workforce planning and headcount forecasting, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and run‑rate tracking in collaboration with Finance.
- Consolidate reporting inputs across teams into a single, accurate performance view.
- Translate complex financial, workforce, and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools such as dashboards, scorecards, and KPI trackers.
- Run core business cadences, including monthly reporting cycles and leadership reviews.
- Drive initiative tracking, execution discipline, and alignment on milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Standardize templates, streamline workflows, and enhance data collection processes.
- Leverage automation and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency while maintaining strong controls.
Required profile
- Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 8‑10+ years of experience in business management, financial planning, workforce planning, or reporting/analytics.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
