Senior Manager, Business Management and Initiatives

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to provide critical support to the PH&N IC branch network. This role blends operational expertise with strategic thinking to improve business efficiency, drive technology initiatives, and raise operational excellence across the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for front‑office teams to resolve client issues and escalations.
• Document operational processes and internal controls, ensuring they are captured and stored correctly.
• Coordinate design phases for development projects, identifying and resolving issues.
• Provide business exceptions with risk mitigation and clear reasoning.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors on policy issues and improvements.
• Develop communication and training strategies for project initiatives.
• Guide teams in solving significant problems and present recommendations to management.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders across PH&N, RBC IT, Operations, Compliance, and Risk Management.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of key systems such as COB, MACS and Salesforce.
• Above‑average proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to design business and analytical solutions and document processes using business process modeling tools.
• Strong communication skills and experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex, large‑scope matters and driving continuous improvement.
• 7‑10+ years in business analysis, operations or related roles, preferably in financial services.
