Senior Manager, Anaplan Center of Excellence

About the role

The Senior Manager, Anaplan COE will be a key member of Scotiabank’s FP&A Transformation team. You will lead the design, build, maintenance and continuous improvement of Anaplan models that support enterprise‑wide planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update, test, train, support and maintain Anaplan models across business units.
• Champion a customer‑focused culture while embedding the bank’s risk appetite and operational controls.
• Develop and mature the Anaplan Centre of Excellence, advising on operating‑model design and technical enhancements.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional specifications and well‑designed Anaplan solutions.
• Design connected Anaplan solutions, including architecture, module development, UX enhancements, data integrations and reconciliation processes.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, manage data integrity, access controls and system performance.
• Oversee comprehensive testing to ensure model accuracy and reliability.
• Lead training sessions, create documentation and provide ongoing technical guidance to end‑users.

Required profile

• Anaplan Solution Architect Certification.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and optimizing Anaplan models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience in data analysis, data management and integrating data from multiple systems.
