Senior Investment Technical Products Sales

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Senior Investment Technical Products Sales professional to join its Investment Product Specialist and Sales team within the Investments and Retirement business, based in Toronto. The role is hybrid, with at least three days a week in the office, and starts with client and sales support before becoming a quota-carrying sales position after about six months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide business development and sales support for Canada and USA MAPs clients, as well as regional colleagues
• Identify and qualify target organizations and selling opportunities, then set up trials and new accounts
• Assist with MercerInsight tutorials and demonstrations, and become a tools expert for the targeted geography
• Contribute to ongoing MAPS tools development and populate the CRM with activity
• Support new client onboarding and prepare contracts with the front-line sales staff and legal
• Take part in sales demonstrations and collaborate with the team to support MAPs opportunities

Required profile

• BA/BS degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, operations or a related discipline
• 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in investments, financial services or as an investment analyst
• Knowledge of investments, traditional and alternative, with a preference for alternative experience
• French speaking is a plus

Required skills

• Experience with the eVestment and TopQ+ software suite
• Web-based presentation tools such as Zoom and Teams
• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

What we offer

• Base salary of $88,200 to $132,300, depending on experience and other factors
