Chief Growth Officer & Head of Industries

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Chief Growth Officer and Head of Industries to join its Growth team within the Risk business, based in Toronto. As an Executive Committee member, you will drive market share expansion across Canada, lead national new business growth and strengthen the firm's presence in key markets. The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national growth agenda, identify priority markets and industries, and assess competitive dynamics to improve positioning and win rates.
• Build a diversified pipeline of new business, personally lead high-impact pursuits, qualify opportunities and forecast accurately.
• Partner with Segment Leaders to shape client strategies and bring an enterprise-wide lens to client relationships.
• Bring the full breadth of the firm's capabilities across risk and insurance, people, strategy and capital to clients, and expand beyond traditional insurance placements.
• Act as a visible leader across Canada, build relationships with senior business leaders and coaches producers and industry leaders.
• Lead and coach a team of Producers and Industry Leaders, and provide leadership on major pursuits and RFPs.
• Contribute to national strategy as a member of the Executive Committee and set and track growth metrics such as pipeline strength, win rates and market share.

Required profile

• Proven track record of driving new business growth and expanding market share.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing sales or producer teams.
• Strong presence and credibility with senior business leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to build external networks and partner across client teams.
• Deep understanding of the Canadian market.
