Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

TTI Canada, a global leader in power tools, outdoor equipment and floorcare products (Milwaukee, RYOBI, Hoover), is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for its Consumer business. The role sits in the finance function and works closely with leaders in Sales, Marketing and Product Management to turn financial and operational data into actionable insights, identify ways to improve financial performance and help shape business strategy. It covers budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting and quarterly financial reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
• Prepare financial models and ad hoc analysis to support leadership.
• Support month-end reporting, forecasting and the budget process.
• Maintain financial datasets and provide accurate category-level profitability analysis.
• Develop and implement new reporting tools and propose process improvements.
• Take part in the Quarterly Financial Operations Review and strategic financial projects.
• Own category-level P&L variance analysis and explanations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Fully designated CPA, or close to completion.
• 3+ years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in a large corporation.
• Commercial finance experience.
• Experience leading or managing projects highly desired.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Accounting and financial analysis.
• Previous SAP and/or HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience is a plus.
• Communication, project management, analytical and multitasking skills.
