Financial Analyst - Milwaukee Business

About the role

TTI Canada, a global leader in power tools, accessories and hand tools, is hiring a Financial Analyst for its Milwaukee business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the analyst prepares financial analysis and sales reporting to support the rapid growth of the Milwaukee business, working with Sales, Marketing and Operations across all levels. The position is full-time and permanent, based at the Toronto headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse the monthly sales reporting package for senior leadership
• Prepare and analyse margin reporting
• Handle point of sale reporting and analysis for key retailers and distributors
• Prepare and enter monthly and yearly accruals
• Liaise between finance, sales and marketing on customer deductions and credits
• Carry out monthly forecasting and analysis of SG&A
• Update related templates monthly and validate data
• Maintain departmental databases
• Carry out annual budgeting duties and ad hoc reporting as required

Required profile

• Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance or a related field
• Working towards CPA certification
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimal travel required

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power BI
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics and Adaptive Planning is an asset
