Product Finance Manager

About the role

TTI Canada, part of Techtronic Industries Inc. (Milwaukee), is hiring a Product Finance Manager supporting Product and Marketing at its Toronto headquarters. The role is a strategic business partner responsible for driving financial performance across assigned Product Business Units, providing P&L leadership, portfolio margin analysis and commercial decision support to improve profitability and enable growth. It works closely with Marketing leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to Product and Marketing business unit leadership, guiding strategic and operational decisions
• Manage and monitor product category P&L performance, explain key drivers and variances, and identify ways to improve sales, margin and profitability
• Evaluate marketing program effectiveness and ROI, recommending optimizations
• Contribute to long-range financial planning, forecasting and scenario analysis
• Support product pricing, portfolio mix optimization and product lifecycle management (launches, discontinuations, prioritization)
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports with variance analysis and commentary
• Turn financial data into actionable recommendations for commercial teams and deliver ad hoc analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements across finance and marketing, and build relationships across Product, Marketing, Supply Chain and other functions

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial finance, FP&A and process improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA and/or CPA
• Experience managing a portfolio of brands in consumer goods, manufacturing or similar industries strongly preferred
• Strong communicator, strategic and analytical thinker, comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• P&L management, portfolio margin analysis and marketing ROI
• Financial modeling, analytical and storytelling skills
• Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP and Oracle, Microsoft Excel and BI tools such as Power BI
