Senior Data Analyst

About the role

OPTrust is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Member Experience and Pension Operations team. The role focuses on delivering technical expertise, designing data‑management processes, and building reporting solutions that support accurate reconciliation and high‑quality information for employers and plan members.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise on business intelligence and data‑management standards, processes and procedures.
• Build and prepare statistical reports and presentations that highlight trends, findings and recommendations.
• Support product owners by generating data‑driven insights for business decisions.
• Extract, transform and organise raw data into actionable insights and maintain data‑workflow inventories.
• Analyse and improve internal work processes, controls and data‑interface reconciliation cycles.
• Collaborate with OPTrust staff to resolve data issues and ensure service‑level standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technical expertise in data management and business intelligence.
• Strong analytical abilities with a track record of designing and maintaining reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to work with product owners and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end data processes, from extraction to reconciliation.
