Senior Claims Investigator – Personal Lines

About the role

Zurich Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Investigator to join the Investigative Services team in Waterloo. You will lead complex fraud investigations within Personal Lines Claims, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and triage investigative referrals, assigning cases to appropriate investigators.
• Conduct complex, high‑exposure investigations, including surveillance and vendor coordination.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports for claims, management, and business partners.
• Collaborate with external agencies to obtain relevant information and data.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of professional investigations experience, or high school diploma with 9+ years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of claims processes, regulations, and statutes in the territory.
• Proven ability to lead investigative teams on complex, sensitive cases.
• Strong interview and information‑gathering skills.
• Excellent written communication for preparing reports and stakeholder updates.
