About the role
SA Accounting Solutions, a Canadian auditing and accounting firm, is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Auditor to work remotely. The role involves planning and executing audits, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and GAAS standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute audits, evaluating financial records and internal controls.
- Perform detailed financial statement audits to identify discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze complex data sets using advanced Excel functions and data‑analytics techniques.
- Prepare clear, structured audit documentation and reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Communicate audit results effectively to management and stakeholders while meeting tight deadlines.
Required profile
- At least two years of audit experience with strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Independent, self‑motivated approach with the ability to handle complex audit tasks.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
