Senior Accountant - Publicly Traded Companies

About the role

Join a leading advisory and accounting firm where your expertise in public company audits will drive meaningful outcomes for clients and the community. As a Senior Accountant you will work closely with managers, partners and a dynamic team to deliver high‑quality audit engagements under IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare audit risk assessments and conduct fieldwork for public and private company audits under IFRS.
• Report progress and findings to managers and partners throughout audit engagements.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
• Work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines while delivering quality work.
• Demonstrate excellent technical accounting skills under IFRS.
• Mentor and train staff, fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation; completion of UFE/CFE.
• Public practice experience is required; experience with both private and public enterprises is an asset.
• Superior people and client service skills with strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Adept organizational and time‑management skills, including meeting deadlines.
