Senior Accountant – Cloud Accounting & Tax (Remote, Canada)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join Think Accounting’s remote team in Canada. You will work with small and medium‑sized businesses, providing bookkeeping, tax compliance and advisory services using modern cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts.
• Answer client inquiries and provide high‑quality support.
• Prepare and file GST/HST/PST returns.
• Produce month‑end financial reports and controllership services.
• Complete compilation engagements and corporate tax returns.
• Assist clients with tax planning and advisory matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a public accounting firm in an accounting/tax role.
• CPA designation or working toward one.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Canadian tax regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, deadline‑driven and able to work independently.
