Secondary LTO: Technological Education (2026-27)

About the role

The Halton District School Board is offering long-term occasional (LTO) secondary teaching positions in Technological Education for the 2026-2027 school year. The vacancy is listed as TAS1O1, Semester 1, Period 2, with availability as soon as possible in November 2026. Teaching sections are offered at 1 (0.33 FTE), 2 (0.67 FTE) and 3 (1.0 FTE).

Required profile

• Intermediate and Senior teacher qualifications, combined with at least two different Senior teachable subjects.
• A valid Ontario College of Teachers certificate in good standing.
• Criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening completed before employment.
• First consideration goes to qualified applicants from the employee group in which the vacancy occurs; applicants who self-identify as members of historically under-represented communities receive first consideration when qualifications are relatively equal.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Brightspace and online learning is considered an asset.
