About the role
The Halton District School Board is offering an elementary long-term occasional opportunity for a French Immersion Grade 8 teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. The position is 0.50 FTE and runs from immediately until December 11, 2026.
Gradual return to work
- October 26 to November 13: 0.50 FTE, Monday to Friday afternoons
- November 16 to 27: 0.30 FTE, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons
- November 30 to December 11: 0.20 FTE, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
Required profile
- FSL Part 1 and Intermediate qualification
- First consideration goes to qualified applicants from the employee group in which the vacancy occurs
