Join Oxbow as a Seasonal Host or Hostess and become the welcoming face of our restaurant located inside Hotel Arts Kensington. This role is perfect for hospitality enthusiasts who enjoy creating memorable dining experiences in a vibrant, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and professional first impression.
• Assist guests throughout their visit, answering questions and addressing needs promptly.
• Manage the flow of guests during peak periods, coordinating with the service team.
• Handle trays and dishes up to 20 lbs, maintaining a clean and organized host station.
• Stand and walk for the duration of each shift, adapting to a dynamic floor layout.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in food service, bartending, or restaurant settings (preferred but not mandatory).
• Positive attitude with strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
