About the role
The Comedy Cave is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Calgary location. You will be responsible for maintaining profitability while delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze budgets and adjust menu pricing to sustain profit margins.
- Monitor revenues, labour costs and control inventory levels.
- Plan, organize and evaluate daily restaurant operations.
- Recruit, schedule, train and supervise a team of 3‑4 staff members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
- Negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages and other supplies.
- Negotiate catering contracts and facility usage with clients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address customer complaints.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education.
- 2 to less than 3 years of restaurant management experience.
- Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends.
- Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.
- Experience supervising a small team (3‑4 people).
