SAS Secretary – Full‑Time Permanent Position

About the role
The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is seeking a dedicated SAS Secretary to support daily operations at St. John's College School. This full‑time, permanent position starts on June 22 2026 and offers the chance to work in a dynamic high‑school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the student information system, entering and updating all student records.
- Process student marks, generate report cards and timetables.
- Prepare monthly enrollment reports for part‑time and full‑time students.
- Produce reports required by the Ministry and Board.
- Provide secretarial support to Vice‑Principals, including drafting reports and correspondence.
- Organise school schedules, examinations and daily teacher supervision.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice‑Principal(s) or Principal.
Required profile
- Completion of a one‑year post‑secondary secretarial studies program or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced high‑school setting with excellent time‑management and prioritisation.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to interact calmly and compassionately with adolescents and maintain confidentiality.
- Problem‑solving aptitude and knowledge of Board policies for secondary schools.
