Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and outgoing Sales Executive to become the face of our magazine within Calgary’s thriving corporate ecosystem. You will build relationships with CEOs, founders, and decision‑makers across a range of industries, representing both print and digital advertising solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of advertising accounts, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Prospect new clients through cold‑calling, networking events, coffee meetings, and lunches.
• Present campaign packages, pricing, and value propositions to decision‑makers in person and virtually.
• Negotiate, close deals, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the campaign lifecycle.
• Shadow senior sales staff initially, then operate independently as product knowledge grows.

Required profile

• Proven experience in advertising, media, or B2B sales with a track record of meeting revenue goals.
• Strong prospecting, cold‑calling, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including professional email and proposal writing.
• Well‑organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Comfortable attending local business events and networking functions across Calgary.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using CRM software or other contact‑management tools.
